We would like to introduce our newest event sponsor – Airos Medical located in Audubon, Penna. This all came about when we were seated with other Pennsylvania advocates at the LTA celebration dinner in DC. Gerry Makoid and Darren Behuniak sat with us, and we started chatting about what this means to everyone involved. They provide medical equipment for Lymphedema, and I am a patient of Lymphedema.
During the evening, we shared information of our organization Ta Ta Rebels and what we do for Breast Cancer Survivors. Gerry was quite intrigued and said to us “What can we do for Ta Ta Rebels”? At the time we did not really know and decided we would be in contact after the holiday and discuss ideas that would benefit everyone. I reached out to Gerry, and he decided the best way to help us was to sponsor our 7th Annual Event this October 7, 2023. With this sponsorship we will not have to take out of the funds or deduct from the monies raised to cover any of the cost for the event. This will cover the cost of the catering by One Love Cafe, door prizes, and other incidentals that occur to make it a successful event.
We are so very thankful that these wonderful gentlemen were seated with us, and we had the opportunity to share how advocating for Lymphedema coverage has brought us together. We look forward to a strong relationship that will help many.
