Dave Lyons – President – Dave has been an active and dedicated member of Ta Ta Rebels since 2018, serving as both a Trustee and Ride Captain. His leadership, commitment, and willingness to serve have played an important role in the success of our organization and our annual events.

Beyond Ta Ta Rebels, Dave is highly involved with the American Legion, the Sons of the American Legion (SAL), and the Legion Riders. He also dedicates his time to other community organizations, including programs that provide bicycles to children during the Christmas season, Wreaths Across America, and the Patriot Guard. His extensive experience, strong leadership, and passion for helping others make him a tremendous asset to our organization. e are grateful for his continued dedication and the knowledge he brings to our mission of supporting breast cancer survivors.

Vicki Scheetz – Vice PresidentVicki attended her first Ta Ta Rebels event in 2019 and has been a dedicated volunteer at many of our events since 2020. She has participated in the Pink Zone event both as a spectator and as a proud volunteer representing Ta Ta Rebels.

Her compassion, commitment, and unwavering dedication to our mission have made a lasting impact on our organization. Whether traveling to pick up donations, lending a helping hand at events, or supporting our survivors and volunteers, Vicki consistently goes above and beyond. Her generosity, reliability, and passion for serving others have been invaluable throughout the years, and we are truly grateful for everything she does to help advance our mission.

Kim Ramirez – TreasurerKim founded Ta Ta Rebels after discovering the significant lack of resources available to breast cancer survivors once active treatment had ended. Four years after completing her treatments and surgeries, she was diagnosed with lymphedema—a lifelong condition resulting from her breast cancer treatment. That experience revealed a critical gap in survivorship care and inspired her to create an organization dedicated to helping others facing similar challenges.

In 2018, Ta Ta Rebels became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and the only nonprofit in Pennsylvania dedicated to providing financial assistance for ongoing post-treatment medical expenses related to a breast cancer diagnosis. Since then, the organization has continued to grow, expanding its programs and services while helping countless survivors maintain healthier, more active lives.

In 2026, Ta Ta Rebels proudly celebrated its 10-year journey of hope, support, and survivorship—made possible through the generosity of donors, volunteers, and community partners who believe that support shouldn’t end when treatment does.

Helene Brown – SecretaryHelene joined Ta Ta Rebels after attending our 4th Annual event in 2019 and has been an invaluable part of the organization ever since. Her exceptional attention to detail and talent for working with numbers have helped keep our operations organized, accurate, and running smoothly.

Our mission is especially meaningful to Helene because breast cancer has touched the lives of her family and friends. That personal connection fuels her dedication and commitment to ensuring our organization can continue serving survivors with excellence. Her reliability, precision, and behind-the-scenes support are essential to our success, and we are truly grateful for everything she contributes to Ta Ta Rebels.
