We have had an amazing positive response to this therapy for breast cancer patients that underwent surgery. Melodie Adinolfi explained that we do not have to live with limited range of motion due to scar tissue from surgery. With this therapy, you can restore range of motion and mobility. In addition, this massage can change the scar and encourage free movement. To date we had eight women participate in the therapy program with fantastic results. We are very pleased with the response to this program. Those that have participated state how the first session made an impact on their range of motion. Some of the testimonials are “I can’t believe the difference” and “I could feel the scar loosening” and “I didn’t realize it was scar tissue” to name a few. The patients that completed the program have sent heartfelt “thank you” for making this possible.
Our mission is to assist the survivor in ways that are not available by other resources. This therapy program is just one part of our organization. In addition to resources, we also offer financial assistance for the on-going expenses related to the breast cancer. These out of pocket expenses can include, co-pays, deductibles, DME(Durable Medical Equipment) such as compression sleeves, prosthesis and mastectomy bras. Our contact information is available at the Hershey Breast Care Center, the Pa Breast Cancer Coalition and our Facebook page. You can also follow us on Instagram.
